The Cheapest Prop Firm Challenges in 2026

The cheapest challenge is rarely the cheapest way to get funded. Here are the lowest entry prices right now, and the math that tells you what getting funded will actually cost you.

Short answer: for a 50K futures evaluation, FundedNext Flex ($74.99 on fundednext.com/futures, October 2026) is the lowest one-time fee I could verify here; My Funded Futures Builder (~$87) and Bulenox are reported lower or similar but I haven't verified them. For forex, Maven and The5ers' Bootcamp start around $17–22 on small accounts. But count your failed attempts. That number matters more than the sticker price.

FundedNext Stellar 2-Step 50K (code LEDGER)~$300Lower 8% first target
FTMO 2-Step 50K~€345Pricier, but it's the CFD firm that has paid me

Prices as reported by third-party comparison sites unless stated; FundedNext from fundednext.com/futures and Topstep from help.topstep.com, both checked 23 October 2026. Discounts change, so the price on the firm's site may be higher or lower.

The math that actually matters

I've bought 50+ evaluations and passed 15+, roughly one in three. That's the number to plan around:

ChallengePriceAttempts at a 1-in-3 pass rateReal cost to get funded
Low-price futures eval (FundedNext Flex 50K)$74.993~$225
Higher-price futures eval (LucidPro 50K list)$1853~$555
Monthly firm, 2 months per attempt$49/mo + $149 activation3~$443 ($98 × 3 + $149)
CFD 2-Step 50K~$3003~$900

Then add the costs that don't show on the sales page: activation fees, reset fees, futures market data fees and platform fees. A cheap challenge with a harsh rule that fails you more often (intraday drawdown, a tight daily limit) can end up costing more than a pricier one with forgiving rules.

Risk warning: most traders fail prop firm evaluations, and fees are usually not refunded. Only pay fees you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.
