Forex Tester Online Review (2026)

A browser-based backtesting and replay simulator that says it bundles tick data for forex, futures and more. I haven't used it. This is a research-based review, and the vendor's site blocked our research checks, so several details are marked unverified.

Verdict: Forex Tester Online looks like the strongest match on paper if you want tick-level forex or futures data included in the price, plus a lifetime option. I haven't used it, so I can't vouch for it. Trustpilot reviewers score it 3.9 from 115 reviews, and the complaints are about chart bugs, slowness and data that won't finish downloading. I couldn't read its pricing, terms or feature pages (they returned a 403 error to our research checks), so confirm the plan, price, futures access and refund terms on the vendor's site before paying. The vendor advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee; I haven't read the terms.

Plans and prices

PlanAnnual list price (vendor snippet)Notes
StarterFrom $199/yrNon-promo price per a vendor snippet. Plan limits: unverified.
Pro$299/yr per vendor snippetSources differ, see below. Plan limits: unverified.
LifetimeUnverifiedA lifetime option appears to exist and its price changes. I'm not quoting a figure.

Prices: from $199/yr list per vendor snippet; check the current price. Checked 3 November 2026 via a search snippet of forextester.com, because the site itself returned 403 to our research checks. The site also shows seasonal promo prices whose amounts I couldn't see.

Sources differ on Pro: the vendor snippet says $299/yr, while a third-party site (GodFunded) listed Pro at $239/yr on sale and $39.99/mo. The vendor is the more reliable source, but promotions move the price, so treat every number here as a starting point. Lifetime prices also differ across coupon and comparison sites, and a Trustpilot reviewer mentions buying a Starter lifetime plan, so I can't confirm which lifetime tiers exist.

Free demo and refund: the vendor advertises a free demo with no credit card; a third-party review says it's limited in functionality, and I don't know the limits. It also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. That's a vendor claim: I haven't read the refund terms. Trustpilot reviewers describe refunds being honoured (October 2025, February 2026, March 2026), but those are customer accounts I can't verify.

I'm not listing a code. Promo pricing on the vendor's site changes, and coupon sites list discounts I couldn't verify. Check your price at checkout.

Watch-outs

These are customer opinions from Trustpilot unless noted. I can't verify them, and the company replies to negative reviews.

Pros and cons

Pros (per the vendor, unverified)

  • Tick data advertised as included, with CME futures tick data from 2013
  • Free demo with no card, and a 30-day money-back guarantee advertised
  • A lifetime option
  • Trustpilot reviewers report refunds being honoured

Cons

  • I haven't used it, and the vendor's site blocked our research checks
  • Chart bugs, slowness and data-download complaints from reviewers
  • Unclear plan limits and unclear which plan has futures
  • Prop firm rule simulation not confirmed
  • Prices and lifetime terms shift with promotions

Who it's for

Might fit: traders who want tick-level forex or futures history in the price and will verify plan details first. Use the demo and the refund window to test it on your own markets.

Probably not: anyone who needs a built-in prop firm session (look at FX Replay), or who wants a tool with a clean stability record.

FAQ

Have you used Forex Tester?

No. This review is based on vendor snippets, third-party reviews and Trustpilot. I have used FX Replay and had a good experience with it.

How much does Forex Tester Online cost?

From $199/yr list per a vendor snippet, with Pro at $299/yr per the same snippet. Sources differ and promotions change prices, so check the current price. Checked 3 November 2026.

Is there a free trial or refund?

The vendor advertises a free demo with no credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Those are vendor claims; I haven't read the terms, and I don't know the demo limits.

Does it have NQ and ES futures data?

The vendor says it has official CME tick data from 2013, varying by symbol. Which plan includes futures is unverified.

It depends. On paper Forex Tester has deeper tick data. FX Replay has a free plan and a built-in prop firm session, and I've used it. See the FX Replay review and the comparison guide.

Risk warning: a backtest isn't a forecast. Replay ignores slippage, real fills and emotions, and past results never guarantee future results. Most traders fail prop firm evaluations. Trading forex, CFDs and futures carries a high risk of loss. Nothing here is financial advice.
