FXIFY vs FTMO (2026)

A broad, multi-program firm against the long-established one with fewer plans. The real difference is which drawdown rule you get, and that depends on the plan you pick at FXIFY.

Disclosure: this page contains affiliate links. If you buy through the FXIFY or FTMO links I may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. FTMO has paid me, but that does not make it the better choice for you, so I've judged both on their rules.

Short answer: the two firms split on drawdown. FTMO's 2-Step has a 10% static maximum loss, 10% then 5% targets and a 5% daily limit. FXIFY offers many more programs, and its drawdown type changes by plan: Standard (10% / 5% targets) trails, Classic and Pro are static, and One Phase, Instant and Lightning trail. FXIFY has lower entry tiers, a choice of instant and one-day plans, and allows EAs and news on its evaluation programs (per a third party). FTMO has the longer record, a refund on the 2-Step fee, and a higher Trustpilot score (4.8 vs 4.3, FTMO's own display against Trustpilot). FXIFY also carries unproven payout-denial allegations. Pick the exact plan, not the firm.

Sources differ. Funded Ledger checked both firms' public pages on November 1, 2026, without logging in or buying anything. I could not read an official price list for FTMO, and FXIFY's FAQ page returned an error, so most fees below come from third-party sites and may be out of date. FXIFY rules also change by program and have changed during 2026. Where sources conflict I say so or leave the number out. Check the firm's own page and the final checkout total before you pay.

Where the sources disagree

Sources differ on: FXIFY's One Phase entry price (the homepage and a third-party review give very different figures, so I've left it out); whether FXIFY has minimum evaluation days (the homepage line is about payouts, third parties list 3–5 per program); FXIFY's split (up to 90% is a paid add-on, base is reportedly 80%); and FTMO's 2-Step prices (list vs promo, no official source). Older articles may also describe FXIFY's plans wrongly, because Standard trails and Classic is static. I've used FXIFY's own blog for that.

Drawdown: the biggest difference

FTMO's 2-Step is the simpler rule set: 10% maximum loss, static, so your floor never moves. FTMO's 1-Step trails your highest end-of-day balance, and its Instant account uses an intraday balance-based trail. FXIFY has more variety. Classic (static 10%) and Pro (static 8%) are the two with no trailing component, while Standard (10% / 5% targets), One Phase, Instant and Lightning trail. Don't assume a plan is static because its targets look familiar: Standard has the same 10% / 5% targets as FTMO's 2-Step but trails. If you only trade static drawdown on CFD firms, as I do, check the plan's drawdown type before you pay. Trailing vs end-of-day drawdown explains how the types differ.

Fees, refunds and payouts

FXIFY's entry tiers are lower, but its programs differ on refunds: 1, 2 and 3 Phase fees can be refunded with your first payout on request, while Pro is reportedly not refundable. FTMO's 2-Step fee comes back after your first Reward request; the 1-Step does not. FXIFY lets you request a payout from the first funded day on its standard programs, with a $50 minimum, but a 90% split and bi-weekly payouts are paid add-ons. Third-party sources add limits such as a $4,000 daily profit cap on Pro. FTMO's pages I read don't give a starting split or payout timing, so I can only speak to my own experience: about 2–3 days, four times. I can't say the same for FXIFY.

Where FXIFY wins

Watch out (FXIFY): several plans trail, and rules differ per plan, so it is easy to buy the wrong one. Trustpilot reviews and a competing reviewer describe payouts denied for alleged latency arbitrage with no trade-level evidence; FXIFY says it can't disclose its methods. These are allegations I have not verified. Other flags: a 60-day inactivity breach, paid add-ons for the 90% split and bi-weekly payouts, rule changes during 2026, and it is not available to US residents. Reviewers state its licence differently (Mauritius vs Labuan) and I haven't checked a register. I haven't traded FXIFY and it hasn't paid me, so start small and test a first payout.

Where FTMO wins

Watch out (FTMO): its entry tiers appear higher than FXIFY's cheapest plans (third-party prices), I couldn't read an official price list, and the 1-Step fee is not refundable. The 1-Step trails end-of-day and has a 50% best-day rule on orders from 12 October 2026. On Instant accounts a withdrawal can breach the loss limit once the balance is above 110% of the start. The 2-Step needs 4 trading days per phase. It is a simulated-account service, not a regulated broker relationship, and so is FXIFY. I haven't searched regulator registers for either firm.

FXIFY fits if…

  • You want a choice of program types, including instant or one-day plans
  • You'll pick a static plan (Classic or Pro) and read the plan's rules first
  • You accept payout-denial complaints and will test a small first payout

FAQ

Is FXIFY or FTMO cheaper?

FXIFY has lower entry tiers according to its official Pro pricing and third-party listings for Standard and Classic. FTMO's fees come from third-party sites only, so check both checkout pages. FTMO's 2-Step fee is refunded after your first Reward request; FXIFY refunds 1, 2 and 3 Phase fees with your first payout on request.

Is FXIFY's drawdown static or trailing?

It depends on the plan. Per FXIFY's own blog: Classic is static 10%, Pro static 8% and Three Phase static 5%. Standard, One Phase, Instant and Lightning trail. FTMO's 2-Step is static 10%.

Has FTMO or FXIFY paid you?

FTMO has: four payouts in 2026, $26,138.16 in total. FXIFY has not paid me, and I haven't traded it.

Do FTMO and FXIFY allow EAs and news trading?

For FXIFY, a third-party source says EAs and news are allowed on One, Two and Three Phase and banned on Instant and Lightning. I didn't check FTMO's rule, so read its page before relying on either.

Are there discount codes?

I don't list any code for either firm. FXIFY runs its own public sales, which change often, so check the checkout for the current price.

Are these firms regulated brokers?

No. Both run simulated accounts, not a regulated brokerage relationship for your trading. I haven't searched regulator registers for either.
