How Long Do Prop Firm Payouts Take?
Payout speed is two separate questions: how often you're allowed to ask, and how long the money takes to arrive once you do. Here are both, for the biggest firms, plus my own payout times.

Frequency vs speed
A firm can pay within an hour but only let you ask once every 14 days, or let you ask daily but take a week to send it. When you compare firms, check three things:
- First payoutHow long after funding until you can ask at all (FTMO: day 14).
- Payout conditionsWinning days, consistency checks and buffers you must hit before the button unlocks.
- Processing timeHow long from request to approval to money in your account.
- Payout capThe most you can take per request. Fast but small can still be slow overall.
How to get paid faster
- Read the payout rules before you buy, not after you pass. The conditions decide your timeline more than the processing speed does.
- Trade steady days. Consistency rules lock payouts after one big day. Similar-sized days keep the button unlocked.
- Request as soon as you qualify. Some firms can change payout rules over time, so a payout you've already taken is the one you know you have.
