E8 Markets Review (2026)
A prop firm with a long-running forex/CFD line and a newer futures line. I haven't traded it, so this is a research review. The hidden Trustpilot score and complaints about payout caps matter as much as the rules.

Verdict: E8 offers flexibility: a customisable one-step forex/CFD account, and end-of-day drawdown on its futures accounts with news trading allowed. The trade-off is payout friction. Reviewers describe best-day rules, permanent buffers and per-request caps, and Trustpilot currently shows no score for E8. I haven't traded it and it hasn't paid me, so I can't vouch for its payouts. If you try it, start with a small account and request a first payout early.
- Has it paid me?
- No. I haven't traded E8 Markets; this is research only
- Best for
- Traders who want a configurable forex account, or end-of-day drawdown on futures, and accept payout caps
- Programs
- Forex/CFD: E8 One, E8 Pro, E8 Signature. Futures: Signature and Zero (Zero launched July 2026)
- Profit split
- 80% by default per reviewers; 90% or 100% as a paid add-on on some products
- Trustpilot
- No score shown (guidelines breach); 3,302 reviews
- Watch out
- Hidden Trustpilot score; payout-cap and buffer complaints; July 2026 futures payout limits
My experience with E8 Markets
Watch out: hidden score and payout caps
- Payout complaints, unverified. Trustpilot reviewers in October 2026 describe repeated payout denials, and profit caps and a 50% buffer limiting what they could withdraw. Trustpilot doesn't verify these claims. Some of this may be explained by the buffer rules below, but I can't tell which.
- July 2026 futures rule change. One reviewer reports that from about 14 July 2026, new Signature and Zero futures accounts have per-request payout caps and a limit of 5 payouts per account, after which you get a free challenge of the same size. Only one source reports this. Caps per request apply, check E8 for the current figures.
- E8 Zero is new. It launched in July 2026, so it has a short track record.
- No licence. Reviewers report E8 is a simulated-trading service, not a regulated broker. I found no regulator warning, but I didn't search every regulator list.
- Bots are banned on futures. That includes AI and semi-automated execution. Reviewers say bots are allowed on forex, but identical EAs across users can trigger action.
- Coupon-site codes. A Trustpilot reviewer who says they are an affiliate claims a payout was refused after support found their discount code on a coupon site. That is unverified, but use any code only through the link on this page, never from a coupon site.
Programs
| Program | What it's for | Main catch |
|---|---|---|
| E8 One (forex/CFD) | One-step account where you can configure target, drawdown and split | Defaults differ by source; higher payout share or looser limits raise the fee |
| E8 Pro (forex/CFD) | One-step; reported static max loss and no consistency rule | Reported 50% buffer on requestable profit |
| E8 Signature (forex/CFD) | One-step with end-of-day drawdown | Reported 35% best-day rule when funded; positions auto-close at 23:00 server time |
| Futures Signature | End-of-day drawdown, 80% split | Permanent buffer equal to the drawdown; per-request payout caps |
| Futures Zero (July 2026) | Starter and Max tiers; no daily loss limit reported | Needs a trade every 7 days; 40% best-day rule in the challenge stage |
E8 is run by E8 Funding LLC (Dallas, Texas) and E8 Markets Ltd (Saint Lucia), according to one reviewer.
Rules
| E8 One | Target, daily limit and max loss are configurable and reviewers list different defaults, so check the checkout for your configuration. Funded consistency reported at 40%. |
|---|---|
| E8 Pro | One reviewer reports an 8% target, a 2.5% daily limit and an 8% static max loss, with no consistency rule. |
| E8 Signature (forex) | One reviewer reports a 6% target and a soft 2% daily pause, with end-of-day dynamic drawdown. |
| Futures drawdown | End-of-day dynamic: it trails your closed profit at market close and locks at the starting balance. Signature is reported at 4% on 25K and 50K and 3% on 100K and 150K; Zero at 3%. |
| Futures daily loss | Zero: none reported. Signature: a soft 2% Daily Pause in the performance stage that ends your day without breaching the account. |
| Time limit and minimum days | Reported as unlimited with no minimum trading days on the forex products. |
| Consistency (best day) | Reported 35% on Signature (performance stage) and 40% on Zero (challenge stage) for futures; 40% on funded E8 One. |
| News | Futures: reported as allowed in both stages. Forex: E8 One funded accounts reportedly have a 5-minute blackout around high-impact news; Pro and Signature allowed. |
| Overnight and weekends | Futures: not allowed; positions are flattened at 15:10 CT. Forex: allowed on One and Pro; Signature closes at 23:00 server time. |
| Scalping (futures) | Reported: at least half of profit must come from trades held 10 seconds or longer; 300+ trades a day counts as high-frequency trading. |
| Copy trading | Reported as allowed across your own accounts; copying between different users is banned. |
| Inactivity | Reported: one closed trade every 60 days on Signature and forex One; every 7 days on Zero. |
| Bots | Banned on futures. Reported as allowed on forex, with the identical-EA risk above. |
What it costs
E8 evaluations are reported as one-time fees, with no activation fee and no subscription on futures. I can't give a reliable sale price. Reviewers disagree on several prices, including E8 One, so I'm not listing those; get the number from the checkout. Figures below are single reviewers' list prices and may be out of date.
- Forex/CFD: per PropFirmsCompare (September 2026), E8 Pro is listed from about $32 (5K) to about $2,598 (500K), with a $50K Pro account at about $228. The same reviewer lists E8 Signature forex from about $110 to about $390 (25K to 150K).
- Futures Signature: per Damn Prop Firms (September 2026), roughly $160 to $450 for 50K to 150K. The 25K price is disputed between sources, so check it.
- Futures Zero: Damn Prop Firms (September 2026) lists Zero Starter at roughly $178 to $558 and Zero Max at roughly $328 to $1,088 (50K to 200K).
Cost trap: fees rise when you raise the payout share, loosen drawdown or add swap-free, per one reviewer. I didn't find reset prices, so I don't know what a failed attempt costs beyond buying again. Check before you buy.
Payouts
- Split: 80% by default; reviewers report 90% or 100% as a paid add-on on some products.
- Frequency: varies by product. Reviewers report on-demand requests on E8 One and Signature, and daily requests on Pro and Zero.
- Minimums: $100 net on the futures products, per one reviewer.
- Buffers: Signature reportedly requires you to leave an amount equal to the drawdown in the account permanently. Pro reportedly lets you request 50% of profit and keeps the other 50% as a buffer.
- Caps: caps per request apply, check E8 for the current figures. Together with the 5-payout limit on newer futures accounts, they limit how much of a big win you can take out at once.
- Speed: one reviewer says E8 reports a median of 11 hours to approval and 24 hours to funds (January to May 2026). That is E8's own claim, relayed second-hand, and I haven't verified it.
- Methods: reported as Rise, WorkMarket and Aeropay, depending on region.
Our payout speed guide compares firms where I have real timings. E8 isn't one of them.
Platforms
Futures run on NinjaTrader and Tradovate, with TradingView charting through Tradovate, per one reviewer. Forex/CFD platforms reported are MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and the E8 Terminal, varying by region and product.

Who E8 Markets is for
A possible fit: discretionary traders who want end-of-day drawdown on futures or a configurable forex account, who have read the payout rules, and who start small to test a first payout.
Not a good fit: futures bot traders, anyone who needs to hold positions overnight on futures, and anyone who needs a firm with a proven payout record of their own. If that's you, Lucid Trading (which has paid me) is the safer comparison.
FAQ
Does E8 Markets actually pay out?
I don't know first-hand: I haven't traded it and it hasn't paid me. E8 publishes payout rules, and Trustpilot has many 5-star reviews, but reviewers also report denials and caps, and Trustpilot shows no score. Sources differ, so test with a small first payout.
Why does Trustpilot show no score for E8?
Trustpilot's page says the rating is unavailable "due to a breach of our guidelines", and notes some reviews were removed as fake. I don't quote any rating for E8 on this page.
Is E8's futures drawdown trailing?
Reviewers report end-of-day dynamic drawdown: it follows your closed profit at market close and locks at the starting balance. It isn't intraday trailing. Confirm at checkout.
Can I use a trading bot at E8?
Not on futures: bots, including AI and semi-automated execution, are banned. Reviewers say forex allows them, but identical EAs across users can trigger action.
