Tradesyncer Review (2026)
A cloud trade copier for futures prop accounts, from $49 a month with a 7-day trial that needs a card. It's still labelled an open beta, payments are non-refundable, and your prop firm's own rule decides whether you may use it at all.

Verdict: Tradesyncer is worth a look if you run several futures accounts that you own yourself and each firm allows copying. It connects to Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX (TopstepX) and Volumetrica/dxFeed accounts, and the company says copying runs in the cloud, so you don't need a VPS. Plans start at $49 a month. Before you pay: it calls itself an open beta, its terms cap liability at one month's fee and make payments non-refundable, and Trustpilot's 1-star reviews mention missed copies, disconnects and charges after the trial. A copier fault on a funded account is your loss. Check your firm's rule first (table below). If you start the trial, cancel before day 7 unless you want to pay, and screenshot the cancellation.

My experience
Plans, trial and cancelling
| Plan | List price | Connections | Accounts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49/month | 2 | 10 per connection |

- How to cancel: according to its help center, profile picture (top right) > Subscription > Cancel. Do it before day 7 if you only want to test it, and screenshot the confirmation.
- Upgrades: pro rata, so you pay the difference for the remaining days.
Supported platforms and firms
- Connects to: Tradesyncer's FAQ says it connects to Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX (TopstepX) and Volumetrica/dxFeed accounts. Its other pages list further platforms and tools such as NinjaTrader, TradingView, Sierra Chart, ATAS, Quantower and CQG; NinjaTrader and TradingView are described as platforms you trade on top of.
- Not listed: I found MetaTrader, cTrader and TradeLocker on none of the pages I read, so don't assume support. It has a "Request an Integration" form.
- Firms it lists: Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox, Alpha Futures, FundedNext, Top One Futures, Lucid Trading, TradeDay and AquaFunded, "and many more". FTMO, Earn2Trade and FXIFY are not on that list. The page adds that support "is not a universal guarantee for every plan or jurisdiction". Its own pages disagree on the firm count (30+ and 50+), so I leave the number out.
- Features (the company's claims): per-follower multiplier including mini-to-micro mapping, bracket orders (take profit and stop loss) that copy and update, a mode that copies only leader orders that actually fill, unlimited copy groups, and risk settings such as daily loss limits, profit triggers and session lockouts, enforced in the cloud. It also says average copy speed is 20-40ms and that execution depends on your broker, connection and market conditions. I haven't measured any of this.
- Own accounts only: its terms prohibit managing accounts owned by anyone else and reverse trading. Its firm page says to confirm that each firm allows third-party copiers.
What each firm says about copiers
This is the part that matters most. Tradesyncer says copiers are allowed by major firms, but its own firm page tells you to confirm with each firm, and the firms' wording differs. Below are the firms' own words from their own help pages, with the date I checked. Where I couldn't read the firm's page, the row says unknown. Don't treat an "unknown" as a yes.
| Firm | What its own page says | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Lucid Trading | "Automated trading systems and trade copiers are permitted"; "All automated activity must comply with Lucid Trading rules." I found nothing on ownership or account caps. | Lucid help center, "Other trading activities", dated 26 Aug 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| FundedNext Futures | "Copy trading is allowed only when traders copy their own trades." Copying between FundedNext and other prop firms "is allowed if the trader owns all accounts involved." Third-party platforms are allowed "as long as they are used for copying one's own trades only." Copying another person's account is not allowed. | FundedNext Futures help center, updated 30 Sep 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| FundedNext CFD challenge | "Using external cloud-based copy trading services, such as Social Trader Tools, Traders Connect, or Duplikum, is not allowed." "Using a VPS-based trade copier is permitted, but only between a trader's own FundedNext Challenge Accounts." Combined total "cannot exceed $300,000". Tradesyncer isn't named there; whether a cloud service like it counts is unknown. Ask support. | FundedNext help center, updated 18 Sep 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| Alpha Futures | "Copy trading in general is permitted as long as it is a single user executing the trades." "Automated, Group, and Reverse Trading" are "strictly prohibited." "Alpha Futures is not liable or able to fix any issues you may face while using a trade copying software." The page doesn't define where a copier ends and automation begins, so ask support. | Alpha Futures help center, "Copy trading", dated 17 Jul 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| Topstep | I found no dedicated copy-trading article. Its Prohibited Conduct page bans "Coordinated trading", "Cross-account hedging (single-user)" and "Trading on behalf of others". Topstep has its own native copier in TopstepX, and Topstep said in October 2026 that it bars VPS and remote servers. Whether a cloud copier counts as a remote server: unknown, ask support in writing. | Topstep help center, Prohibited Conduct, dated 30 Sep 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| Apex Trader Funding | Unknown, check the firm's help centre / ask support. I couldn't read its help center in November 2026. | Not verified |
| Tradeify | Unknown, check the firm's help centre / ask support. I couldn't read its help center in November 2026. | Not verified |
| Take Profit Trader | Unknown, check the firm's help centre / ask support. I found no official page. | Not verified |
| E8 Markets | Unknown, check the firm's help centre / ask support. I couldn't read its site. | Not verified |
| FTMO | Not stated on the pages I read. Its Forbidden Trading Practices page prohibits trades "alone or in concert with other persons, including between connected accounts" but doesn't name copiers. Ask support. FTMO isn't on Tradesyncer's firm list. | FTMO, updated 2 Nov 2026; checked Nov 2026 |
| Any other firm (TradeDay, MyFundedFutures, Bulenox and others) | Unknown, check the firm's help centre / ask support. I didn't read their pages. | Not verified |
Watch-outs
- Open beta. The terms say it's "currently offered as an open beta in an advanced stage", and that it doesn't guarantee continuous availability or full compatibility with third-party platforms.
- Liability is capped, and you carry the trades. Its liability is limited to a single month's subscription fee, and you are "solely responsible for all trades executed through the trade copier". If a copy fails on a funded account, the loss is yours.
- Non-refundable. See the plans section. The trial needs a card and converts on day 7.
- Trustpilot complaints (third party, individual claims). Trustpilot showed 4.5 from 721 reviews on 3 November 2026, with 12% at 1 star. I read the first page of 1-star reviews (20 reviews, June to October 2026). Themes: trades not copying or copying unevenly, charges after the trial when a cancellation wasn't registered, disconnects, and slow support. Most recent reviews (late October to early November) are 4 or 5 stars. These are unverified claims, and most of the 1-star reviews I read had no company reply. I didn't read the other pages of 1-star reviews.
- Copier faults can look like hedging. One reviewer claims a firm closed accounts for counter-trading after opposite-direction trades. That's unverified, but the risk is real in principle: if a copy goes wrong, your accounts can show opposite positions.
- Hedging rules apply to copiers too. Firms such as Alpha Futures and Topstep ban cross-account hedging and similar conduct, whether you place the trades or a copier does.
- Rules change. A firm that allows copiers today can change its page. Re-check before you add accounts.
- Speed and "built with the firms" are the vendor's claims. I haven't verified them.
Test it on demo or small accounts first and check every fill before you copy to a funded account.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Cloud-based, so no VPS needed, per the company
- Works with Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX and Volumetrica/dxFeed
- Multipliers, mini-to-micro mapping and bracket orders
- Risk settings on all plans
- 7-day trial
Cons
- Open beta with a liability cap of one month's fee
- Card required for the trial; payments non-refundable
- Trustpilot 1-star themes: missed copies, disconnects, billing
- No MetaTrader, cTrader or TradeLocker listed
- Your firm's rules decide whether you can use it
Who Tradesyncer is for
A good fit: futures traders with several of their own accounts at firms that allow copiers, who'd rather not run a VPS and are willing to test on small accounts first.
Not a good fit: anyone at a firm whose rule you haven't confirmed, anyone who wants a guaranteed refund, or a trader who can't afford a missed or duplicated copy on a funded account. A firm's free native copier, where one exists, may be enough; see the prop trader toolkit.
FAQ
Is the Tradesyncer free trial really free?
It's a 7-day trial, but a card is required and you're charged on day 7 unless you cancel before then. Cancel under Subscription in your profile and screenshot the confirmation.
Does Tradesyncer work with MetaTrader or TradeLocker?
I found no mention of MetaTrader, cTrader or TradeLocker on the pages I read. It lists Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX (TopstepX) and Volumetrica/dxFeed, and has a form to request an integration.
Do prop firms allow Tradesyncer?
It depends on the firm and the plan. Lucid, FundedNext Futures and Alpha Futures publish rules that allow copying under conditions (see the table). Apex, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader and E8 are unknown to me: check the firm's help centre or ask support.
Does Topstep allow a cloud copier like Tradesyncer?
I can't tell you. Topstep has its own native copier and restricts VPS and remote servers; it doesn't clearly say how a cloud copier is treated. Ask Topstep support in writing.
Is there a Tradesyncer discount code?
No. I don't have a code and I won't make one up. Check the price at checkout.
